Excuse me Ward, Paulie will have to make that decision. He not only has a lame dog in this race, but also an ax to grind.

just dont clinch and low blow non stop and most would be happy. fighters like joshua, spence and charlo didnt have to win by cheating nonstop. thats why i dont get why ward has fanboys. so many better and non dirty fighters out there. i guess you can follow them all but it kind of makes it less special to do that. having standards is a good thing. you dont have to settle for the cheating dirty fighters. you can do better.Comment

he made 11.5. he wouldnt have fought since the purses were already settled before hand but he threatened to retire so they gave him a new deal he couldnt refuse just to get him in the ring so he could low blow kovalev. you think hes going to get huge money for fighting guys like stevenson, beterbiev, gvodzk, bivol etc....i dont see it. i predict he looks for some real juicy easy fights and if he cant get it doesnt fight anymore. lets hope hbo doesnt cave in to him and give him those easy fights. they were strong last time when he tried to fight sartison, periban, and caleb truax instead of bute, ggg and stevenson. be strong again hbogood to take a rest after tought fights like these... Ward is still young and just banked almost $10 million for 2 fights! Kovalev on the other hand is royally screwed! $0 official purse for that beating smh.....even don king never gave any of his fighters a $0 purse even if was giving them ppv pointsComment

What's a brother to do? Week Weaks the ref had to help colored Andre Ward out and Week Weaks came thru in Al Sharpton fashion hosing the commie Kovalev again. That is America and that is fair. God Bless America and Freedom again and again. Let Kovie go back to Russia and cry on wee *****'s shoulder?? God bless Weak Weaks and his unfair decision. Let a champ go out like a true Champion should. Stevenson awaits Ward now voodoo and all haiti follows.Comment

i think ward vs stevenson is the only ppv fight for him in america... He could fight bellew on ppv in england and sell out the o2 arena....I said 10 million because i deducted hunters cut lolhe made 11.5. There's no need for a third fight with Kovalev at the moment. Its pretty clear Ward is the superior fighter. To me, the next move for Kovalev has to be a move to cruiserweight. There's a couple Russian beltholders up there he could make fights with. And if successful, Ward has expressed interest in going to that division. What better may to drum up interest in a third shot at Dre? He wins a cruiserweight belt. He can use the excuse that he was killing himself to make 175, which is why his stamina was so bad againat Ward.
As for Ward, Stevenson is the obvious next move. But I'm not sure Stevenson wants to fight anybody with a pulse, let alone the #1 P4P fighter in the world. Ward is in his 30s, and I thought I saw signs of slippage last night. He spoke about a move to cruiserweight, which would create some interest. And if he's serious about the heavyweight thing, he needs to do it sooner rather than later. Most of the great light heavyweights in history have tried their luck at heavyweight. So why not dare to be great. Ward isn't a very big light heavyweight. He's also not a big puncher. Combine that with the fact that heavyweights nowadays are 6'6, 250lbs, I think its a very tall task for Dre. He might be able to outbox Parker and stay outta harms way. But it'll be tough. Guys like Joshua and Wilder, forget it. They're too big for Andre and Ward isn't Floyd defensively. He's gonna get hit some. And when they hit him, he's gone. All that said, I'd love to see him try it. Dare to be great.Comment

Agreed. I really would have liked to see Kovalev quit on his stool or keeled over on his knees like the hoe that he is. Weeks robbed us of that glorious sight.Comment
