Kovalev lost twice. No need for spin.
The Ward Fans Damage Control

It's easy to land a good right hand when you low blowed your opponent not even a minute earlier. But even though Kovalev was out of breath due to a punch to his balls, and he wasn't even thinking of defending his head, Ward still couldn't drop him with his strongest shot.Comment

Those shots right before were not low blows. They've been shown numerous times. Clearly on the belt. Care to show these low blows?Comment

Who gave him that permission to change the long standing law of boxing on the fly? That's ridiculous. Whats' worse is, the ref himself states "that's low but I'll accept it"...like wtf?
Now, as I keep saying, moving away from the low blows, accepted or not, why was the fight stopped?Comment

No matter how big of a ward fan you are, you cannot honestly say that you're happy with the way the fight ended.
Low blows or not, that was a BS stoppage that also robbed Ward of a clear and legitimate stoppage that he probably would have gotten had the fight continued.
Yes it's a win, but like the first fight, a tainted win.Comment

Look at the three body shots between 1:48-1:45 of the 8th round. The first was a low blow, second was a low blow, third one was legal. Then Kovalev bent in pain but the ref told them to keep fighting.Comment
