Is this the end of Main Events?

Kov was their number 1 fighter. Can't take a loss like a man, prob won't be the same after this. Duva paying fonfara $1. Can't promote a fight or sell tickets. Kovalev having a $0 purse in the biggest fight of his career via the nsac. She damn near had a melt down in the post fight.

Why would anyone wanna sign with them

I don't want to see Main Events fold but I also don't want to ever see Kathy Duva again. The tantrum she threw at the post fight press conference was very unprofessional.....

They're done as major players I think. US market is all about PBC/TR now GBP to a lesser extent.

Has Main Events ever been perceived as a "major player" though? I've always thought they were a B-level company, no disrespect to the fighters they've promoted. I perceive Dibella in the same way.

Sullivan Barrera has a big fight against Joe Smith. His victory will keep M.E. relevant while Kov gets himself together.

Yeah. Especially since the world saw that $0 guarantee.

The only hope is to find a hidden talent that nobody else knows about

Magomedov lost last night, and Dargan went MIA after his first loss. Mikhaylenko is bouncing back from his first loss with a WBC silver title opportunity. Glazkov is still recuperating from his knee.

Basically, it's all up to Barrera.
