Guinn has only lost to very good opponents.lyakovich,Toney and I think Barret and that was just because he was plain lazy.

Actually on paper this looks like a good match-up.

The only guy that dominated him was Toney. I had the Sergi fight a draw, it was on ESPN. I had Barret winning by 2 point against Guinn.

Yeah.....I recall watching them all too but forgot how I saw them.I just remember Guinn not getting off and looking lazy.I thought he was going to be good **** after he tore Grant out the frame but he seems old before his time......amybe due to his extensive amatuer background.

I looked forward to seeing Guinn become champ when he dismantled Michael Grant and outhustled Duncan Dokiwari. Now I don't look forward to his fights at all. By the way, why would these guys sign to fight each other in 20 days? That's like no time at all to train. Unless they were both already in training? But I highly doubt that...this is Dominick Guinn, one of the laziest fighters I can recall watching at a once-elite level.

He lost to world Champ Sergie, 4time world champ Toney. And a tough fight to Barrett. It's not like he has been beaten by scrubs

Look at the date of the original post. It was probably old news at the time, too.

As for Guinn, he definitely has the skills, but his last few fights he looked like he would rather be anywhere but in a boxing ring.

dont make excuses for him. he never fights agressively,,,its not his style. he also drew with friday A********* whatever his name is. guinn is not a top fighter period,,,,plus monte barret gets beaten every time he's stepped up to a top 15 heavyweight and serg's only other good win was over an out of shape lamon brewster
