Hunter is looking too much into Joshua's weaknesses shown vs Wlad, who's also a giant and is an athletic guy for his size and is also powerful. He has to come down from there, choose someone close to Ward' physical attributes. It's ambitious but it's worse than Kell Brook fighting GGG.

Joseph Parker is also huge, but closer to Ward and he is the WBO champ. I'd say he's the best one to go after. Fury, Joshua, or Wilder are way too much.

I think Ward could put on 20-30 pounds of muscle in a year's time and could be a legit heavyweight..

Granted Tyson is considered one of the GOATs of this sport, a different body type and has "**** you" power but Andre is no bum.

I would not advise Ward to do this but it can be done.

Ward's tactics would get him wasted.

If he does any of that jab, falling in and working the body stuff.. Joshua can just lean on him and tire Ward out. Break through his grab with a chopping right and take his head off.

I like Ward especially because he's from the Bay Area but damn.. Joshua is too damn big!

Not going to happen. Way to much going against Ward. Way too much reach to overcome and Ward would get hurt with every shot. And being on the inside against Kovalev who is slightly bigger than Ward is different than being on the inside against a tall HW who can just lean on their weight on you. Ward would gas out quick tying up with Joshua. I think even cruiser weight would be kind of a stretch for Ward because that's a lot of natural size he would be giving up.

Ward had a great win last night and deserves props even if the end of that fight got a little dirty. My take away from that fight concerning any flaws Ward may have going forward was that Kovalev seemed to gas out majorly early in the fight and was still landing jabs pretty frequently, albeit with nothing major on them but still landing none the less. There is a few LHW's like Gvodyz, Beterbiev, and some that I can't remember at the moment that I feel are true threats to Ward and Stevenson. If Ward chooses to still fight and compete at LHW I think it's going to be more difficult than some people think for Ward to remain undefeated.
