    When Lacy comes back

First off I think it night be a while before he comes back. He needs to get his head together. 2 he should take his time and work on his boxing skills. He has some but he needs to learn how to make them the most effective that they can be. 3 Will he slowly come back into the picture or will he try to get write back on track what do you guys think? 4 Who will he fight next do you think?

To me Lacy is similar to Tyson, lots of power but has has trouble against fighters who have good movement and solid boxing skills.I think the perfect opponent for Lacy right now is Allan Green or Joe Spina, both are undefeated and would be easy oppponents for him.

green would be really good for lacy green does tend to stay infront of his man and reily on his speed to beat his man to the punch. I think lacy would probly KO him unless green moves more I know nothing about spina only that he is comming off a good win. Mgar would be a good fight as well since he is ranked.

It will be interesting to see if Lacy can come back. I have my doubts. That beating he took in the Calzaghe fight, esp the last 3-4 rounds where he was just a punching bag, can change a fighter forever. He may never be the same. From like the end of the 8th, I was telling everyone I was watching it with it should just be stopped.

But assuming he can regain form, he's going to trouble for whoever he fights, especially if he learns from the Calzaghe fight and improves.

          Yeah totally agree their,
Getting destroyd like tht can kill a fighter in the head for good u might have all the power in the world but if u ant got tht confidence anymore its pointless.

Not taking anythink away from Calzaghe but the pressure Lacy was under was huge ive been 2 a few lacy fights such as the RObin reid bout in which was more like a Circus than a fight. "lacy" flags and **** everywhere i thought i was going 2 watch the undisputed champion with a mature record, but it was a guy with a 21-0 only won the title in a mismatch and not regarded as the main man in the divison yet.

Big fan off Lacy been 2 the Reid fight, Omar, pemberton, but lacys managerment where crazy in retrospect2 stick him in their with calzaghe this is a guy whos been champion in tht divison getting on 10 years, 18 defences, and after he beat lacy we knew this guy was somethink special, saying tht even before tht u dont beat guys like Eubank without being world class,

good fights for Lacy to get him back on track, Beyer,Green,Adranda, dawson, mundine all off these guys

          P.S
Good move for lacy never mention "calzaghes" name again
we all now know tht guys miles ahead off all them guys at Super-middleweight even Kessler would get his ass handed 2 him if he got in their with joe.

First of all, he needs to get a new corner. I cant believe that they would let Joe just keep pounding on him when his legs were so wobbly, both eyes cut and swelling shut. Lacy couldnt land **** or get out of the way of anything. They should've stopped the fight. He might not never be the same after that, but time will tell. He's gonna have to fight some tune ups to gain back some confidence. A rematch with Joe should be out of the question at this point. He's not ready.

what the **** is going on with him. he must have developed a stutter or something because I haven't seen him anywhere at all..

He reminds me of this cat I knew up here. He got in a fight at the B-Ball court with a younger guy.(We're 23, young guy was 18.) Young guy ****ed him up (I wasn't there) and he had this large open wound on his scalp but it was a straight slice like a knife cut him from the scalp to his mid-forehead. completely straight cut wound but im pretty sure a punch did it. anyway this fool moved away for like 3-4 months to heal up and didn't say anything to anyone he used to know until he was all healed up..thats ***** ****

I dont know about that. I think Joe is just way too fast for him. Styles make fights. Look at Byrd vs Wlad, Mosely vs Wright. The losers in those fights arent nearly as bad as they looked, they just couldnt contend with those styles, but like I said time will tell. Should they rematch, to be fair, the fight should be in Florida.
