How is a count appropriate for a low blowComment

how do you know he acted worse than they felt? are you using your unauthorized teleketenic mind powers again?and im sure he didnt want to be low blowed anymore who does? that doesnt mean low blows are suddenly legal now does it? this is why its best to stick to the rules. that way your subjective feelings dont effect the outcome of fightsLast edited by daggum; 06-18-2017, 05:28 AM.Comment

Bull sh.. Texbook stoppage? From what textbook? I know what I saw in the slow motion replays and so do you. This fight was an embarrassment to boxing and the officiating was a disgrace. Kovalev was there to box. To negate Kovalev's power Ward hit him low. Weeks let him get away with it. Ward is obviously the chosen one in the sport. Laughable.Post the videos of the low blows. I don't wanna hear any talking I want to see proof.
That was a textbook stoppage. The ropes weren't holding him up so Weeks couldn't rule a KD. There is no standing 8 count. Kovalev wasn't protecting himself. What was Weeks supposed to do?Comment

Quality thread, you are basically explaining what happened with video evidence and people will won't believe their eyes.
People arguing the final low blow while ignoring him being hurt to the head and body in the round and basically looking spent and out of gas are on some next level denial. It's over, you're guy lost, he got his ass kicked. Yes some of the punches were borderline, yes a few might have been low but that wasn't the reason he was stopped. He was beaten by a better man, I also thought the ref COULD have given him a count but he looked done. I also didn't see him argue the stoppage when it happened.
Time to accept that Andre Ward is the leading candidate for fighter of the decade in the 2010's.Comment
