Didn't class him as great until now, this Kovalev fight really open my eyes. I thought Kovalev was a killer and i truly believe that. Never in my wierdest dreams would i ever believe seeing Kovalev becoming the victim, what i saw on sunday was what i use to see in Kovalev's opponents, the hurt, the realisation, the frustration that they are getting beat and about to be taken out in front of millions. I still cannot get over that shock in my system, maybe i overrate Kovalev but going back all his fights that i have seen up to date i even rate him higher than GGG based on his resume. But to see him reduced to what i saw on sunday would take me a while to get over......Especially against an opponent in Ward who isn't known to be a power puncher.

Ward is a gritty, mean, nasty, very determined vet in the ring.

Even as a fan he surprises me every time he raises his game. This is like the 3rd of 4th time be even surpassed my expectations and I expected a beat down.
