Nothing much to gloat and moan on the established corruption and cheating. September 16 is the last date for me and last fight to watch and after that nothing else. Its hard to follow such a corrupt sport where cheating is praised as tactics or skills, where an even playing field is just an imaginary concept in a persons mind.

When I first got into boxing I remember seeing all these old disgruntled guys thinking every fight was dirty or fixed or the refs are ******s etc and thinking damn... Get a second hobby you obsessed mofo.

But they were right. The only fights that seem to have a satisfying decisive result are blowouts against TBAs. Everything 9/10 "big fights" are complete disasters and people celebrate their guy winning no matter how terrible it was. And the bar seems to get lower every fight. Tonight was a new low.

When you have 2 people at the top of the sport, not much is going to separate them. It's going to be controversial 90% of the time.

yeah its getting ridiculous now. i wasnt hugely hyped for the fight, said in build up that kovalev would get robbed, but it still sucks seeing it and i didnt expect the cheating to be quite so blatant.
