You guys can argue all day long about whether those blows were low or not. The main issue for me is the stoppage. It was premature and reeked of bias.

I do agree with you about the stoppage. It was terrible.

I don't think it would have saved Kovalev from taking an ass whipping if the fight was allowed to continue. But it did rob Ward of getting a conclusive, decisive finish and injected controversy when there didn't need to be any.

As a Ward fan, I can not defend it. The punch clearly lands low.

But in general, Ward was very effective on the body and that was his path to victory.

Think about this; the reff could've called a few of Ward's punches low, and could 've deducted him a point. Still Ward would not have given up on the body. He would've kept working on it to a too.

No ****ing way, ward is truly blessed, gets the last fight and titles handed to him, got all of his super six fights at home, gets away with blatant cheating head butts in the past and now this!! Low blows and then the fight waved off, the guy cannot and i mean cannot be beaten at home bar a KO, someone somehow will intervene and allow him to cheat or hand him the W, thats the ward story right there.
