I think Ward may have stopped a gassing Kovalev without repeated low blows but the way this stoppage happened is not much to be proud of. I know that in the moment I was amazed at what looked like a sequence of three very low shots leading to a fight ending, off the back of low shots earlier in the round.

It's funny how he's got a perfect view of the final 3 low blows. Immediately after them he stops the fight. It's like he wants to disqualify Ward but remembers Ward is supposed to win so he awards him the stoppage.
