2 Judges had Ward up after 7 rounds. Despite the TKO, another robbery was coming.

Legal or not weeks should have not stopped fight yet. Ward deserves an unquestionable win he trained his butt for it, and kova needs to be given a chance for a comeback since he wasn't that hurt.
Khan was given three tries. Even bradley was given benefit of the doubt against provo

From the little highlights that I have seen it looked like that, it made it known that he was hurt several times. He looked like he wanted out of there which always happens when a boxers body is getting destroyed, just like Spence did to Brook they would look for a way out.

From the little that I saw at the stoppage it didn't look like low blows to me, just looks like another boxer who couldn't take the body punches, regarding the stoppage not sure why the ref didn't give Kovalev a standing count. I would watch it properly when I wake up and after work.
Fight was over and would have been with or without alleged low blows. Feel free to watch the tape yourself, but Sergey was done and a low blow doesn't account for the awful shape he was in. He almost doubled his punch output from the first fight and was completely gassed by the middle of tonight's fight. He connected virtually no meaningful power punches while getting his body hammered round after round. Kovalev fans got the controversy to cling to but as I said, watch the tape and you'll see this duel has been decided conclusively. I'm pretty sure Kovalev's fans'd rather not see a third fight, but instead dwell on the low blow controversy.

Ward even looked the harder puncher tonight. Kovalev did outjab him though I guess. For as long as his poorly paced stamina carried him, that is.

The key words are "was coming." Ward ended that with the right hand that wobbled Kovalev.

Kept looking to the ref after clean body shots were landing. You know a guy's head isn't into it when they are doing that during the fight.

I had Ward up 5-2, but could have seen as much as 4 rounds for Kov. Of course the 8th would have been a 10-8 round if Kov had survived.

Kovalev got beat, deal with it.

yea pretty bad considering almost every other scorecard i heard had kovalev in front. it was closer than last time up to that point but again they must have given him the benefit of the doubt to have him in front.
