So what are your thoughts on Kovalev's performance in light of all his rabbit punching? Should Max have also mentioned that because that's not legal either?

Naw, that was a great performance - from both fighters. Ward's performance as a puncher was just a tad more compelling than the Krusher's performance as an innocent victim of low blows.

However, Sergey did great as a gassed out boxer on the verge of being knocked out.
