This ^. Thought the NDNJ - Murata rematch had been mandated. Finally got round to watching it and I'm forced to admit that Murata probably deserved the nod, though it ain't quite as clear cut as some seem to make out.

Well N'Dam punches mostly hit Murata on his arms because of Murata's turtle shell style and it wasn't really hard shots. It look flashy but it doesn't hurt Murata. Murata on the other hand landed flush hard shots when he not on his guard.

Murata actually won the gold medal in the Olympic with his turtle shell style.

No way Lemieux is risking his mandatory shot vs Jacobs.

Yeah I know. I've always been a bit of an NDNJ fan though - even in the Quillin and Lemieux losses he I could argue he outboxed 'em both for long stretches, but I think Murata had Hassan's number despite the lower workrate and conservative style. Thing is I like N'Dam and never particularly enjoyed watching Murata fight... dammit.

To me it's very strange that Daniel Jacobs got sidelined, how all this world boxing organizations do their rankings? In my opinion DJ second best middle weight right now, so he should be ranked number 1 or 2 by all these Organizations...
