Big long shots both ways, but it would be great. Would Conor become a p4p boxer if he did?

It would be nice because It would end the Mayweather/Pacquiao era. I don't think It will help Conner due to Floyd's age, but I do think that because of the caliber of opponent Mcgregor Is, It would tarnish Floyd's legacy In a big way.

Dude if Floyd loses, UFC will lose half their fanbase laughing, we'll be the laughingstock sport in the world. We'll be poor mans combat sport.

Can you imagine the pure entertainment value? This would be like the sports equivalent of Trump becoming president.

            War McNugget and Hornet

The funny thing about fighting mismatches like this is, although your chance of winning is really high, a loss would destroy you. I always cheer against guys doing these circus shows.

No to both. No to the Manny fight, because that's my guy. No to the Floyd fight, because, the boxing fan in me wants to make it even for the Randy Couture/James Toney BS ass fight.

Besides, as a boxing fan, how could you even bear to listen to Conor nut huggers, and MMA novices say how boxing is "officially dead", or some BS.

And I'm a huge MMA fan.

Couldn't agree more. If Floyd should lose, you better believe that his 49 previous fights will be forgotten. In reality, we have a better chance of hitting the lottery today as opposed to Floyd losing.

He's been killing the sport for a while now, it would be only right he ends it all by getting stopped by an mma fighter to put the final nail in the coffin. And just when things were picking up again like the good ole' days.
