Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a pest, like a c.ockroach, only worse. This person has single-handedly done the most damage to boxing as a sport, throughout his infamous "career" as a "professional boxer."

What great REAL BOXERS like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Oscar de la Hoya, Manny Pacquiao have done to exalt and promote the image of boxing as a sport, has been destroyed by this ****** pest.

People who admire, follow and most of all PAY TO SEE this walking disgrace, are the ones to blame for this disaster. Must be very proud of having destroyed boxing, by paying to see a cowardly "fighter" who has never fought outside the US, never really engaged anyone, even midgets like Manny himself, always paid referees, judges, networks, box stats providers, drug testing agencies, to protect him.

Sad state of affairs. Real boxing fans won't watch that travesty of course. We will watch Kovalev-Ward tonight, expecting justice this time, and later on, THE REAL BOXING FIGHT in this year: GGG vs. "not drained" Canelo.

Kathy Duva is bad for boxing. Her fighters, especially Kovalev, would have been much better off if they had signed with a different promoter or Al Haymon.

If Kovalev had signed with Haymon, he would be getting paid a guarantee of $3 million for the Ward fight tonight. Instead, he is getting 75 percent of what may only be $1 million.

What percentage of 'real' boxing fans who are ragging on Kova fighting for a percentage of the PPV are gonna watch it on a free pirated stream and take $$$ out of his pocket rather than support him and the sport?

                THIS is disgraceful to Boxing:

I'm always on the fighters side I don't give a *** about the Promoters, Networks or none of them but when fighters are being paid $1 that is PATHETIC. On top of Kovalev Purse not even being listed for this fight tonight!

You know your sport gots bigger issues than anyone ever talks about when a boxer who hasn't fought in two years & a guy who's never had a professional fight gots people with skin in the boxing game saying the fight between those two guys can hurt the sport. LOL.

Specific people in boxing need to quit worrying about what the "other guy" is doing & actually try to make boxing better & operate at a higher level as best they can instead of fantasizing about their own future money grab fights.

Grow the pie, instead of fighting over scraps.

Showtime/PBC, to help boxing, need to use this as a platform to sell the brand and fighters. Every Showtime/PBC fighter needs to do constant media all fight week. Full features on AJ, Spence, Thurman, Wilder. Have to take advantage of this opportunity.

I got a massive pet peeve when people keep making this about this guy or that guy. Its not a Showtime thing, its not a PBC thing, its not a HBO thing, its not a TR thing, its not a GBP thing, its not a any one guy thing. Its that almost everyone in the sport is money grabbing, at whatever level they can money grab, & not making this about boxing.

This is nothing complicated per se, its what every other major sport does by design. Put boxing first & boxing will grow & the money comes & comes bigger than ever. Put money first or just not put boxing first all the time & boxing gets smaller & the money gets smaller.

People watch boxing cuz they love the sport & competition of boxing. That simple idea is not respected & appreciated by enough of the players in the sport with skin in the game.
