That's the truth of the matter too. As soon as that Floyd-Conor fight was announced....BAM it starting getting headlines all across the media spectrum. Why? Well, Floyd is the most known name in boxing and even his last fight flopped. It's because of Conor, UFC swamps boxing in terms of popularity and it's not even close.

The PPV is to cover the outrageous pay that "Son of Fraud" demanded for the rematch. His team will end up losing money as they always do and are hoping to mitigate the losses with PPV revenue. Kovalev's entire check is dependent on the success of the event.......don't expect him to be seeing much money off of this. Greed and schitty ripoff decisions is killing this sport.
