Punching power is EVERYTHING. I can see Stevenson beating both Ward and Kovalev by knockout. Stevenson can afford to make mistakes against those two, but they CAN'T .

They make a mistake, a lazy jab, or backing straight out, and they'll be waking up to smelling salts .

take stevensons straight left away and he's not that good. his straight left is however one of the best straight lefts in boxing today. Probably is flat out the best one. he throws it at diffrent speeds diffrent angles does a lot with it that it's a multi punch. People let their blind hate get the better but stevenson is a pretty good boxer overall. he has the tools to beat either, but he also lacks the tools so if he lose to either as well as beterbiev, they are all good fights but he played it safe and made the most money possible instead. he did pretty good since nobod ever saw him winning a title but since Bellew (which was a good win people deny) he hasnt fought anyone in the top 5 it's been 6-10 always

Ask yourself if you would fight Stevenson

            that is rubbish

I would bet my life you said all that rubbish about Golovkin/Jacobs, and were proven wrong..... and then said all that same stuff about Ward/Kovalev, before being proven wrong

" powah " is probably the most over-rated aspect of boxing

" powah " has not been a prerequisite to winning a boxing match since 1892

have you ever heard of Floyd Mayweather ?

Here we go again, Ward shows absolutly no interest yet Stevenson is the one getting attacked.

Adonis Stevenson and the IBF have finally found their man. After whiffing their way down the ratings ladder and getting turned down by Edwin Rodriguez, Thomas Oosthuizen, James DeGale, Mikkel Kessler, Sakio Bika, Kelly Pavlik, and most recently, Andre Dirrell, the organization has signed up Don George for a super middleweight eliminator against Stevenson.

Ward is a sweet talker, like his mentors Virgil Hunter & James Prince. The dude just have to say "Yes we can", to convince the entire fanbase that a Ward duck is not ducking, it's a step forward.
Look, after Stevenson beated Dawson "june 2013", he said he wanted to fight Hopkins and Ward, while Ward was an HBO commentator at the fight.
Ward says "76sec" Stevenson didn't have enough names on his resume to fight him. Still in HBO, Stevenson promoter offered Ward a deal to make 2 fights; 1st at 168lbs in Oakland, and the 2nd at 175lbs in Montreal. But the Ward-Hunter-Prince trio sounds-off.

*Reason why I don't go to church, I can't stand those preachers.
