  • Does Conor McGregor GENUINELY Believe He Can Win?

Asking if you think Conor McGregor thinks he really has any chance of winning? If he genuinely believes it.

    His motivations are obvious.

What I want to know is when he's alone or he's having that moment in the mirror - what's this MF'er really thinking at this point?

Do you think he realized that it didn't go well against Chris Van Heerdan when they sparred?

        yeah why not?

I remeber what foreman said about prince naseem when he was getting schooled, when your apower puncher and your used to knocking dudes out it doestn matter that you getting out classed cause deep inside you you think all you gotta do is connect 1 good shot and its over. a punchers chance.

100%. Conor believes in that visualization, manifesting your destiny type sh^t. He shot called winning the UFC 155lb title when he was like 4 or 5 fights (with 1 L) into his pro career & fighting for some D level MMA minor league.

I'm sure he believes that within reason.

This is more akin to him taking flight or walking on water than it is jumping a few inches higher or running a few seconds faster, don't you think?

You best believe he believes it. Conor has that special intuition - hence why he calls himself Mystic Mac - for visualizing the victory before it happens (and often the round it happens in) and he probably feels deep down that he can catch Floyd at some point and put him to sleep. Remember that Floyd is a defensive fighter, not a killer; In McGregor's mind, the difficulty in just in catching him.

Well you gotta put yourself in his shoes. This mfer has went from nobody to the biggest active fighter in combat sports in like 4ish years. He might think he can fly.

Outside of the ACL injury when he lost a year of his career & the Diaz L his world has been rainbows & unicorns for awhile.

And I've always been a proponent of you needing to be a lil delusional to become a top ten guy in the world let alone the #1 guy so yea he's delusional, but only a lil bit more delusional then most of the guys he's been fighting.

You think he might improve with constant training, way too much emphasis on sparing in this forum when in reality sparing means jack sht to fight night.
