That's why Ward is hard to promote.
He's a random fighter. His fights don't lead to anything.
    Except retirement.

Why would he be thinking about some irrelevant, cherrypicking bum who has consistently and routinely ducked every half decent challenger he's been linked with over the last four years? He just ducked Joe Smith, ffs.

Stevenson isn't fighting anyone remotely dangerous. His four fans need to get this into their thick heads.

You don't remember him leaving Showtime to go to HBO to fight Kovalev for less money than he was gonna make fighting Stevenson on Showtime?
I don't recall all of the details regarding his decision to fight Kov over Stevenson; thought he cited Stevenson's reluctance to fight anyone as a primary reason.

Besides, a business decision doesn't always equate to a "duck." Hopkins' body of work says all you need to know about him. Stevenson still hasn't faced anyone of significance since he beat Dawson.......

You and I both agree, he has looked good.....

Against mediocre competition. Beating a Fonfara with one hand, and beating a Kovalev or Ward with one hand, are too completely different tasks, my dude.

I am sure he was thinking about the WWE champion.

I don't think picking Kov over Stevenson can be considered ducking. Both are dominant fighters, you're acting like Hopkins chose to fight Fonfara instead.......
