Fans wanted him to fight Amir Khan when he made a poll prior to the first Maidana, he fought Maidana twice then Pac(after ducking for years), then cherrypicked Andre BUMto. No Amir Khan.

Now he said fans want him fight a MMA fighter in a boxing match.

Boxing fans didn't want this fight

MMA fans were indifferent to it

      Casuals/general public wanted this

Guess who buys the most PPVs?

Floyd is right....you dont think there isn't a team following social media? Don't you think that if it didn't create a buzz to amount into big $ it wouldn't have been made? He clearly stated that this was an entertainment purpose while adding to his funds. It's what we all as the consumers wanted. And no matter if we know the outcome (stoppage) it will be entertaining.

          It's sanctioned by WBC. 50-0

I have an idea given that - say McGregor pulls off a win. WBC should make him mandatory for Jermell Charlo's belt. Then we can see....

I wasn't aware that a lot of people were asking for this fight. I had never heard of Conor mcgregor before this fight was being mentioned as a possibility

Joke Floydie is so irrelevant. He actually thinks what he says matters anymore, even proving it by saying 'the fans want this fight'. No, your insane greed wanted this fight. Your chickenshiiii cherry picking ways wanted this fight. Your insane narcissism wanted this fight. Your need to be in the public eye wanted this fight.

Floydie is just like Dump with his huge and easily fractured ego. Nothing more. The real sin will be if he wins and they actually allow his record to be officially 50-0. This should be seen as nothing more than an exhibition. Yet we already read where one of the sanctioning organizations is trying to invent a new belt for this charade.

Meanwhile, Kovalev, hardest working fighter in the sport currently... is getting shiiii on with a pathetic paycheck for this weekend's fight. SMDH

I overheard several co-workers talking about this fight today. Which is funny considering I'm thr boxing fan on my job. And to a man, every last one of them is picking McGregor. So yes, the fans wanted it. Only hardcore boxing fans are the only folks that seem to have a problem with it

                      No fans wanted this fight

None, the media was asking Ronda and Conor can you beat Floyd, this is a spectacle media hyped fight.

Floyd is eager to fight this fight because its a low risk high reward fight, but he is lying saying the fans wanted it.

This was a media creation when Ronda and Conor were fighting the dumb reportrs would ask can you beat Floyd.

. the casuals will order out of curiosity and the majority of people are gullible its called consumerism.
