Kovalev skipped out on another event ahead of the fight.

I wonder why the media didn't report Kovalev didn't show up for the media roundtable yesterday he was obligated to attend? Can you imagine what they'd say if Ward skipped out? They'd say he's stealing from Kovalev because Kovalev's money relies on how well the fight does. That's the second interview he's skipped out on and he skipped out on the press conference yesterday. For a guy who's purse relies on how well the fight does he's not putting much effort into promoting the fight......

The Russian is definitely pissed off at the media, whom, in his mind, twist his words into soundbites and headlines.

So he did something about it.

When it was time for Kovalev to speak with select media prior to the final news conference ahead of Saturday’s rematch, he decided he’d rather not.

Kovalev appeared at the actual presser on time but after he said his piece, he quickly jettisoned the media center, much to the chagrin of RocNation Sports executive Michael Yormark and the rest of Team Ward.

I'd assume he loses some money for that. Or I'd hope one would.

F#ck it if a guy don't wanna promote a fight I guess. I don't think either guy has taken building this fight up very seriously so its whatever. I'll watch cuz I watch everything, but these dipsh^ts coulda caught many more casual fans if they had an ounce of charm between them.

That interview is pointless. Skipping an interview a day before the fight does nothing at this point. The one that mattered though was the face off with Max Kellerman.

At the weigh in, they actually placed a guy between them -- they were afraid that Kovaliov will not wait until tomorrow...

Or the ringside interview at the Canelo-Chavez ppv that Kovalev didn't show for.

He skipped the interview during the Canelo fight. You know the fight that got 1 million buys. More people than would've watched face off with Kellerman.

At least make some research before posting bull**** threads.

Here is the half hour media round table:

Yormark is full of s**t, just like the rest of team Ward. Just like when they said they would present concrete evidence against JDJ being the first one to call them. They're full of it.

MCC and research are like oil and water. They don't mix.
