Canelo vs GGG. The McGregor fight is a one off event nothing to build on. When Floyd wins he will go back to being retired so no need to give a damn. Whether GGG or Canelo wins we can expect more top level fights from them.

is clear, boxing fans and mexican casuals will buy canelo-ggg, around the same amount of viewers as canelo-chavez plus 97k.... mma fans and casuals(both are maybe the same) will buy floyd-connor... casuals wont buy another fight this year if floyd outpoints connor on a boring fight, and that is the most likely outcome... it sucks but it is what it is...

54 votes for the real fight and only 1 vote for the big money making side show. I think the only ones who are excited about Mayweather vs McGregor are MMA lovers who give Conor a chance to win. I like the UFC fights and their fighters and I watch them all the time. They have some great all around fighters with an amazing variety of skills. Some of them are good boxers but they can't compete with the best pro boxers under boxing rules. Boxing fans know this. Many MMA fans don't know this and they will make this fight a big money making success.

Obvious choice, one is a circus side show for the casuals and the other is a competitive meaningful boxing match. That said, I don't blame Floyd for the easy money grab.
