I expect this poll to be lopsided for GGG/Canelo-prob 95%- because this is a boxing forum.

Now if they have this question on ESPN-where the voters are overwhelmingly casual fans and not diehards-the percentages will be much different.

Duh, this isn't even a question.

If given the choice of one over the other it's Triple G vs. Canelo all day!

        Easy choice. Mayweather/McGregor.

            Vote.
You should have made this poll public so we can see who the 7 clowns of boxingscene are.

Update: Nevermind it looks like it is public. I don't know what's more pathetic the so called fight fans that voted for the freak show or the pansies who came into the thread to complain but refused to vote (LarryXXX and The Big Dunn).

I respect your opinion - now here me out and tell me if I make sense:

If Floyd is fighting, I prefer to watch him.

              Just like:

If the Knicks are playing, I prefer to watch them.

I understand which fight is the better matchup on paper, and it very well may be so - but Floyd is an ATG arguably top 10 and in my personal opinion TBE - that I get to watch once more. Fighting a humble misunderstood underdog that has the will to compete in McGregor. Classic battle of skill vs heart.

              - on the flip side

GGG is overhyped beyond belief and Canelo is a fighter who willingly gave up his belt at the advice of a drag queen.
Classic battle of overhyped skill vs lack of heart.

Sure it is a good matchup on paper but even hardcore boxing fans tend to have ridiculous expectations and will probably be in for a shock. Just like May be Pac.

If I had to pick one, I'm going to watch my "Knicks" or "St John's" or "Mets" or "Floyd" ect. - I'll catch Golden State highlights or the replay online later.

              Doesn't make me a casual - I just support teams/athletes I enjoy perform.

.....with all that said - you know I'm paying for both. Lol. Just answering the poll question honestly.

I agree for the most part. If the Cowboys or Lakers are on in a meaningless game, I watch them over more important games than better teams because I am a fan.

I am a huge Floyd fan. If Floyd were fighting a real fight, I'd watch that over GGG/Canelo.

This however to me is a garbage cash grab that is made possible only because ESPN foolishly kept the Floyd/Ronda Rousey thing going instead of deading it immediately. Casuals ate that up. Conor and WHite saw this and Conor almost immediately started mentioning Floyd. Floyd jumped on it because he (and Haymon) knew this would attract white casual fans in droves.

I respect your opinion but I have been a boxing fan for a long time. I want to see real fights-not cash grab garbage and not one sided HBO stars in "action or "entertainment".

It probably isn't a bigger mismatch whatever the bookies are saying - the bookies odds are reflecting on the casual belief that Connor actually has a chance. Both fights are ridiculous mismatches (on paper at least) but at least Horn is an actual boxer.

I feel you but I think Canelo vs GGG is overhyped - to an extent of setting expectations - by the same marketing strageies that have plagued boxing way before MAY VS MAC.

I'm WARD vs KOVALEV II will go down as the better fight for hardcore fans.

At least Mayweather has a good reason for taking this mismatch.
