"I do everything in my training camp, myself" -kovalev

Danm Krusher straight up said he does everything and JDJ just does the mitt work. At least for this training camp.

    Pretty good interview

Everybody but Ward fans and the judges thought Kovalev won the first fight. His attitude is to destroy Ward and end his career. That's a great attitude. You say he is gonna lose without putting an I think in front of it. You and the other know it all Ward fans who say Ward can't lose are just wishing and hoping and guessing.Nobody knows the winner of this fight until it's over. Don't have your Ward victory party just yet. Ward has to beat him in the ring and not just in your imagination. He hasn't done that yet. Kovalev has an excellent chance to win.

trainers are overrated when you are at that level. usually they are the fall guys when someone has a bad performance, they get ditched, and the fighter does exactly the same things in the next fight with the new trainer. kovalevs 34, he knows what works for him.

Wrong. I dislike Ward immensely, but I can see there was more to the fight than that one knockdown. Kovalev faded badly, and Ward took over that fight. It led to what I feel was a close result.

Unfortunately, too many people around here feel qualified to comment just because they watched the highlights package.

Anyway, Kovalev is setting himself up for failure second time round - it's pretty clear he's not in a great headspace, and all this drama in his camp is taking his focus. He's going to need to sort it out pretty damn quick, or he's getting outboxed over 12.
