    Does Kovalev have a trainer?

The last few statements are crazy. Basically Sergey saying he doesn't have a trainer and he does pretty much everything alone.

I think he sees Jackson like an assistant, rather than a real trainer. I feel a bit bad for Jackson TBH.

JDJ just milking that Russian Federation's paycheck. After this fight he will most likely leave Jackson..

I will say though, for any fighter, they have the right to believe it's the trainer's fault if need be. They don't have to blame a trainer, but if they feel it's not working, then hey, move to the next.

It's no secret that Kova and handlers are using a sidelines trainer, but labeling it as a ''stamina coach,'' a stamina coach that gives instructions at the corner...

I agree with that. Make me think if JDJ is more of a PR thing. American trainer that brings the value of Kovalev package for the American market.

I still think JDJ helps Sergey, but nowhere near in a full capacity, which again I think is a real loss for Sergey.

Watched the replay of first fight again last night on Sky and it was embarrassing for JDJ. The look on his face said it all when Kov was consistently talking to the Russian in the corner and neither of them were paying any attention to JDJ at all. JDJ was reduced to telling Kov one liners when he was getting off the stool. I originally thought the Russian in the corner in the first fight was a translator but JDJ wasn't saying to be translated.

Kovaliov turned pro when he was about 26 of age... one can't change much at that point, and even less at this point...

JDJ is kovalevs mitt boy and water boy. Thats all he is. Kovalev is a terminator he has no master, no trainer, just a robotic killer with one mission.
