Just a brothers honest opinion on Mayweather-McGregor

First of all, thank you for all the feedback on my previous analysis on Canelo-GGG. I read some insightful counter arguments, and that's what this blog is all about.
Intelligent discussion. Not just flinging cheap shots like "fl0mos, golovtards, GGGoons, *******s" at each other hah.

    Onto the post;

Okay so you're a boxing purist. And you hate the idea of the best boxer of this generation, taking on a man whose professional record stands at 0-0.

    Yes, it's a bit of a circus.

Yes, it may not turn out to be competitive one bit.

But hear me out - There will never be another Floyd Mayweather and there will never be another Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor is the definition of perseverance. About 4 years ago, he was depending on mere welfare checks to survive. Now, he's earning his first multi million pay check - by facing one of the greatest ever to do it. Yes he used a lot of showbiz to get to this point. But don't get me wrong, the man works his ass off and has that crazy winning mentality that you just don't see very often. His performances against Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez were nothing short of spectacular. He also helped bring MMA over to the mainstream. Simply put, he's the biggest star that MMA has ever seen.

I believe that he's earned his right to a huge payday like this. Most of you may disagree with me, but listen to me, do your research on the man - McGregor is legit and he is a winner!

As for Floyd, he has every right to do as he desires, he gave us all a great, interesting career - hate him or love him, all of us still tuned in to watch his fights. Let him earn an extra pay day, if he wants to. He worked his whole damn life.

Don't get me wrong, personally I think Mayweather would school McGregor inside a ring. It's muscle memory, folks. Floyd's been training boxing & boxing ALONE, since he was just a little boy. He was born into a boxing family and he had, in my opinion, one of the best boxing upbringings. Let's also not forget that the man is determined like a mother****er, and trains like a maniac for his fights.

McGregor vs Mayweather pits the best boxer in the UFC against the best professional boxer of the past couple of decades. Who cares if people want to spend a hundred bucks for this circus? It's their choice. Us boxing purists have a different choice.

Let's also not forget that this is an opportunity for Boxing to get a win over MMA. No MMA fighter - I don't care how good you think he is - can compete in a boxing ring without much prior experience, let alone against the very best in his first attempt.

Listen. if you're a 100% sure about the outcome, then please. Feel free to skip on the pay per view and watch an online stream like me.

    Or don't. Whatever suits you.

It's an entertaining bout which will answer a lot of questions about LEVELS within the sweet science.

    It's a spectacle, it's a show, it's pure entertainment!

Boxing is, after all, a business.

Don't be hating - enjoy the spectacle while it lasts - the trash talk, the buildup, the hype - because I guarantee you there will never ever again be another Mayweather VS McGregor.

plenty of cu/nts came from poverty to become wealthy. and i dont think people are mad because theyre making money. its the FACT that its being marketed as a legit fight. that conor stands a chance. they (the promoters) are calling boxing fans imbeciles and those imbeciles (no offense) are paying $100 to prove them right.

would they have shelled out $50 to see 3g take on mundine ?!?!?!? HELL TO THE FCUKING NO ! they would be stampeding each other trying to make the most anti 3g threads. FACT ! 3g vs mundine would be epic in comparison.

how is it weve all complained about various other previous ppv's and matches but this one gets love ?!?!?!?!?

        49-0 may
        vs
        some 0-0 boxing neophyte

        ''$100, please.*giggles*.... enjoy the show.''

its good to be may. he gave every shltty fight from this day on the seal of approval. he ended all complaining about bs match ups for good. EVERY FIGHT IS LEGIT NOW and should be ppv.

Just stop. We don't need this fight to answer any questions about boxing vs. mma.

If you want to buy it for entertainment value that's on you. No need to push it as anything else.
