Dana White and Mayweather are marketing geniouses.
I (being the only hardcore boxing fan among my friends) have already gotten dozens of calls from friends about getting together and watching this fight. I couldn't get these guys together for Ward/Kovalev but they're super excited about this fight. Some asking me how much they should put on Conner "beating Floyd's arse". They actually believe he had a chance.

This fight is gonna be huge.

The biggest dud of the year so far has been Canelo vs Chavez. That was a money grab for Canelo that Oscar promised would be a war. He kept on bringing up May/Pac and that Canelo/Chavez was going to blow that fight out with more excitement. That fight was so boring that I walked out of the fight in the 5th round to go hit the tables at the Cosmo.
