It would hurt him but UFC would take him back and they could promote the sht out of that. Only thing that would happen is he would probably be fined or lose entire purse (If in contract) If he's getting his @ss kicked he could EASILY blame his entire career at MMA and instincts kicked in.... This would be like telling a boxer to not throw a left or right punch. Once in battle and they have to defend themselves and get clocked hard as ***??? WTF you think they are going to do??? Do what they were trained since like 8-9 years old.Comment

Yea I agree mostly with everything you're saying.
Idk about the DQ thing. Conor has shown good sportsmanship in his fights & has been respectful of opponents after the fight much like Floyd always was. Talk sh^t before, but give respect later when you don't gotta worry about selling tickets anymore.
I think Conor will more likely look for an opportunity to quit if Floyd starts putting it on him too much. He won't punch for too long during a nice flurry leading to the ref stepping in kinda thing. In Conor's MMA losses he's shown a relative ease with quitting quick that I don't like to see in elite level guys.
I could even see him quitting on the stool cuz he's so gassed, but I think thats less likely. If Floyd wants to legit torture him he'd put it on him, but not too much lol. Have Conor getting his ass beat, but not enough to quit without looking like a complete ***** over the full 12 rounds of emotional pain & embarrassment more than physical.Comment

Lmao. The comparison is not even remotely close. Telling a boxer not to punch is not the same as telling a MMA fighter not to kick, because that fighter can still punch, grapple, take down, I mean for fhuk sake bro. And saying his instincts will kick in like he's some wild animal is just a fundamental lack of knowledge. McGreggor fights and trains among the highest level in the sport of MMA (yes it is a sport), as such, he is not going to revert to instinct on a whim like some un-trained monkey fighting in the streets. If that were the case, then MMA fighters would all revert to their base instincts when getting chocked out, or in an arm bar thats on the verge of breaking their arm. Also, if he were to kick Mayweather, and hurt him, there will be legal ramifications. Just because it happened in a boxing ring does not make it legal. It would hurt him but UFC would take him back and they could promote the sht out of that. I think it all depends on the trash talk leading up to the fight. If it's all fun and games kind trolling each other, then I can see your scenario panning out. If it gets personal then it's possible Floyd's rare mean streak might kick in.Yea I agree mostly with everything you're saying.

Floyd does tend to let people off the hook though. Like the Cotto fight for example.
The crowd was completely silent in the first give rounds coz Cotto was being taking to elementary boxing school. Then Floyd decided to stand still and trade with him then the crowd got into it. Then when in rounds 11 and 12 Floyd put the asswhooping on him again just to make sure.
(Although to be fair he does seem to always have something in store for those rounds in most of his fights.).Comment

“Most pundits believe the fight won’t be competitive, but that’s not going to stop millions of people across the world tuning in - and also having a bet on the fight, said William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny “Mayweather is a massive favourite, but we’ve already seen a lot of bets on McGregor landing one of his ‘Notorious’ left hands and winning by KO.”
