I've already put everything in my betting accounts on Floyd and hopefully delusional UFC fans will force the bookies into offering better odds still. McGregor will be made to look like an idiot in the ring, just as Floyd would be made to look like an idiot in the octagon.

Last I saw Floyd was -1100 iirc. Thats not a bad 9% interest rate on your money for 1 night as is. I doubt the line goes down much. I tend to think it'll get wider cuz I think a lot of the sports books were just holding bettors money & making interest themselves off of it more then they expected the fight to happen lol.

Ali was a great bad buy & I usually classify him as "young Ali" when connecting him with Floyd & Jack Johnson, but he wasn't a bad guy for very long & not during his most profitable years. Floyd & Jack Johnson thrived off of the hate in a way no fighters, I can think of, did before or since for most of their meaningful years in boxing.

Mcgregors defense is atrocious as is almost all of mma vs stand up boxing. It's an opportunistic stance for counters but it doesn't actually defend punches. Yikes

My only worry is an injury to Floyd. Vitali vs Byrd and Haye vs Bellew stick in my mind. But then I feel like Floyd would still outbox him with one arm or one leg if it came down to that. Will probably put a thousand on Floyd.
