Have you seen McGregor spar???? Being a great MMA striker definitely does not = a career in boxing.

The MMA analysts and pundits are making it sound like McGregor has a chance of winning. Some of them, like Brendan Schaub, are claiming they'll bet money on it.. Talking about how big and huge and powerful McGregor is. Talking about how feather fisted and weak Mayweather is.. These are the same clowns who have been claiming combat superiority over boxing for years, making it seem like they would make any boxer their b*tch. "Destroy," "annihilate," "kill," blah blah blah..

As personalities and sports figures I don't like Mayweather and I have an appreciation for McGregor but this is boxing vs. MMA. This is the closest we'll ever come to settling the argument they've been waging for years, hand to hand. If McGregor can put up a somewhat respectable performance he'll be given credit and so will anyone who backed him. If he gets wiped out the way I suspect he will it will erase every sentiment any MMA advocate has ever made for their superiority as combat athletes ever presented. McGregor must at least give some redemptive or admirable accounting of himself in this clown show, regardless of anything. **** the excuses. There will be no excuses.
