I don't know why people are hating on this fight, most of them are boxing fans complaining and dissing the fight. I am a huge boxing fan and was a former amteur boxer. I very rarely watch UFC fights but have noticed that boxing in the UFC sport has made a big impression and has brought back UFC from the ground, literally, and made the fights more appeasing to watch. Remember how damn boring it was when two fighters would roll on the ground and battle for mounting position for the whole damn fight?? I, personally, would like to see Mayweather demolish MCGreggor in the ring. I'd like to see how inferior MCGreggor's style is in a boxing match. This is history people! These two guys are making millions of dollars and promoting both sports in a crossover battle, kinda like DC vs. Marvel crossover. It will be the first main event like it EVER! Everyone needs to stop complaining (while secretly knowing they are going to watch anyways) and give it up to everyone that made this happen. It's a business and entertainment move that will at least bring people from different followings together to talk mad shyT, it's all good. May the best man win and have fun that night with the bros and hoes

It says Nevada State Athletic Commission approved it so I assume so.

It's about as meaningless as a fight can get from a fan's standpoint. For casuals maybe it will convince them a good pro boxer can **** up an MMA guy in a boxing match which any idiot should know already.
