    As previously reported, five division world champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor are targeting August 26 as the tentative date for their highly-anticipated boxing match in Las Vegas. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Mayweather Promotions made a request with the Nevada Athletic Commission to reserve that date, for a Showtime event, but did not revealed any of the details on which fight or fights are being staged.

          did you have any issues when MMA fighters were beating up boxers going to MMA?

            um canelo the biggest boxing star just scammed the public with a fight against chavez bum jr... Also canelo and manny have been beging mcgregor for a fight for months...... Mayweather is just the biggest name and he wanted the fight first... Dont hate him..... Hate the game

              I still don't believe this fight is happening. It seems like a crazy fantasy match-up, like Bruce Lee vs Tyson.

              I wish McGregor would defend his belt and Floyd should enjoy retirement and focus on promoting.

                This will be the most 1 sided fight on a big stage in the history of the sport. McGregor would get his balls boxed off by guys like Mauricio Herrera and Chop Chop Corley, so what do you think Mayweather will do. Anybody that believes this has a chance of being competitive DKSAB

                    the woman beater couldnt keep his nose out of boxing, has to get his name back in the limelight. fact is noone wanted you back floyd, you were quickly forgotten about and you havent been missed. thats what happens when you werent involved in memorable fights. people will still be talking about hearns v hagler, castillo v corrales 100 years down the line. noone will be talking about youre borefests. and youre capping your career off with a joke fight, have limped your way to 50-0. pathetic.
