Due to all the crying and sobbing from the first fight, I think the judges might be under pressure to give Kovalev all the close rounds as a way to appease his fans.
The judges might even sub-consciously give Kovalev rounds because they don't want people to think they gave Ward rounds just because he is the American fighter.
