Everyone has a plan until they get hit. Plan A for Ward is to hug and insight fight from the beginning if that don't work NOTHING else will work. He might try a few New tactics at the beginning which will result in him getting dropped to the canvas or he'll quickly realized it don't work then back to hugging. Ward said Kovalev can't learn to fight insight over night. Suppose we can say the same about Ward and his hugging, bad habits die hard, but it happens to be a habit that works in his favour with some luck. Ward will hug. Kovalev will have more energy. Truth is both fighters will have made adjustments from the first fight. So both guys are not going to see the same exact game plans. And in ring adjustments will be made in the rematch as well.


May the best man win. Hopefully it will not be controversial like the first fight and a clear winner can emerge.
