He's definitely declining. He was poor in that first fight, he has never looked so bad. It was only his will and mentality that got him through.

It's why I think Kov wins the rematch.

            it's the other way around

he was under-done heading into that fight

fighters often lose a little sharpness following inactivity

before that fight, EVERYONE said that Barrera/Brand were not adequate preparation for Kovalev following his stretch on the shelf..... and they were right

Ward will be MUCH better with those 12 hard rounds under his belt

I think that Kovalev will have to take more risks against a sharper Ward who has already had a real close look at him

this will be a very hard fight for Kovalev to win

Funny, he was talking about retiring after the first fight, even he doesn't know what he has said

Ward needs to shut his mouth. Three months ago he was talking about he's done all he ever wanted [bs, he wanted to become a HW champion in 2009], and retiring. Now his desire is as strong as ever? Both of these guys say really ****** ****, kov with his excuses and ward with his constant whining.

If he comes in looking like his prime self, which he didn't at all in the first fight, it's going to be an unpleasant experience for Sergey. He didn't look good in the first fight.
