I'm not the biggest Floyd fan, but he wasn't much of a cherry picker. At least not any more so than most every other top boxer.

Pac dodged Floyd just as much as Floyd supposedly dodged him. A prime Shane Mosley ducked Floyd on two separate occasions when Floyd called him out only a few years into his professional career. 99.9% of the guys that are dismissed as "cherry picked opponents" were world champions and top ranked fighters (almost always somewhere in the top 5) when he fought them. Castillo and Maidana gave Mayweather tough fights the first go around, surely a coward would have just ran with their wins over them and never fought them again? Yet Floyd gave them both an immediate rematch. Etc., etc.

At least he can throw a straight punch.

He was also able to hurt Joshua Clottey...Manny and Margarito couldn't budge him.

The only time I saw Clottey truly hurt was against Carlos Baldomir.

This is a ridiculous post. Floyd defeated Manny. His next fight was an optional "soft" defense primarily to keep his record intact so he could market the attempt at 50-0.

A large percentage of title wins in the last 3 years has been followed by a defense like this, especially with high profile fighters. Manny beats Vargas, follows with Horn. Canelo beats Cotto, follows with Kahn and Chavez. Loma beats Russell, follows with some unknown.
