Comments Thread For: Bellew-Haye Rematch Would Be Best For December, Says Hearn

The rematch between British heavyweight rivals Tony Bellew and David Haye is being targeted for a date in December, says promoter Eddie Hearn. Bellew, who at the time was the WBC cruiserweight champion, moved up to heavyweight in March and pulled off a major upset with an eleven round stoppage of Haye, a former two division world champion.

Bellew vs Haye is two Brit boxing bums going nowhere=vomit

Bellew vs Haye is a clown Brit fight of no importance and no meaning to anyone but clueless Brit fans. Both Bellew and Haye are bums far from contenders and just JOKES. screw this crap fight.

If it is he'll easily beat Bellew. Bellew celebrates as if he beat a fully fit Haye and that was enough to put me off the guy forever.

I agree it doesn't mean much at all but it's a step up from the clueless American Floyd fight next up wouldn't you agree?

This will be a herculean achievement, if David Haye can not only recover from his injury 100% but? Defeat Tony Bellew in the rematch! (I think the rematch will be even bigger than their first fight, i would not be surprised if it out sells Kiltschko vs Joshua! Because this is not a boxing match, it is a fight! These guys don't like each other, it is personal!)...

Am I reading this right? Outsells AJ V W.K.
There's little sense other than a payday it's far from the fight you try to make it out to be.

Haye is finished and even his now ex....trainer tried to tell him hence the split.Bellew is in the wrong division and should think more of his health.
