Bruce Lee took sparring serious. He wanted you to try kill him in sparring, he wouldn't have it any other way.He was into realism big time read his notes on spoarring.. He would hurt you to bring the tiger out of you.
Those champs were thinking how come Bruce is hitting us at will? We are the champs, it should be us hitting him!
They would try hurt Bruce as he was always humiliating them.
When Bruce went around to martial art schools he would ask to spar with the top students. Sometimes Lee would get carried away and the teacher would tell Bruce to Go easier. But Lee was holding back anyway he couldn't go full out full force or hedc seriously hurt people.. Shows Lee didn't mess about when it came to soarring

There are studies that say that 70 Kg per centimeter (or above) will damage severely the throat in a way that the cartilage will have irreparable damage.

The only way to save a person after a blow like that is to have a doctor around or to do a surgical procedure that will put air in a persons lungs again. Death caused by lack of oxygen.

You're still not getting it. You have to actually practice something that precise to able to do it in real life, and under attack to boot!!!

It's why boxers and strikers spar. It's why grapplers 'roll'. To prove their stuff works against a resisting opponent.

A trained boxer can knock out a resisting opponent because he's actually done it. A trained grappler can submit a resisting opponent because actually done it.

You say those grand masters' throat punching stuff works because it's possible in theory.

Oh STFU, he's as much as fighter as ****ing Jean Claude Van Damme. He looked great in movies too.

If Bruce Lee is as much of a fighter as Jean-Claude then wouldn't that mean he's a fighter. Because last I checked JDVD had a professional kickboxing career (19-1 18 KOs) and has an amateur record as well.

I'm not sure of the level of his competition but the man wasn't a fake when it came to martial arts.
