In a street fight a martial artist has far many more tools and knows every strike point on your body to take you down fast. A boxer does not.

He didnt use karate Moves to KO him ,any ways gangsters (in my country and rest of eastern Europe are people how make "buisness" and can kill you just by ordering a hit) ,Karate can be good self defense but against another fighters its not good.

The boxer knows how to hit a resisting opponent, how to avoid strikes, and how to keep coming when he gets hit. That's huge in a fight.

Contrast that to some Grand Poobah who can tell you how he can kill someone with ease, but you never see any of them practicing it against resisting opponents.
