What a massive crowd. That's just amazing, they love GGG.

Does this ever happen for any active US American fighter?

      fake news imo.

Russia and ***** are manipulating our western minds.

none of those people in the crowd had any idea who the hell Golovkin was and had been hired and paid off!

everything about G is fake! fake win's, fake record, fake belts, fake parades!
      makes me spit tbh

Because he's an exciting fighter, he's a household name in his home country, like Pacquiao is in the Philippines.

In contrast, most Americans have never heard of Andre "headbutt and hold" Ward.

United States has too many celebs and athletes, boxers are usually at the bottom of the totem pole unless you're Mayweather.

True. Also, I think countries that do not have many world class fighters tend to throw more support behind their fighters when they produce a really good one. GGG and Pacquiao are examples of this. The hype for Zou Shiming before he lost is also a good example of this.
