yeah they should mention valdez but his promoter needs to do a better job of promoting him also! Tank davis who is a champion is wayyyy more famous already than most champs at 126 or 130... Valdez and jo jo diaz need more promotion because they have a lot of talent for sure...

Santa Cruz, Frampton, Mares, Selby, Valdez...there are a ton of good fights for GRJ in that weight class.

They just need to stop ducking him.

It would be a big step up for tank, but it would be a great test before eventually facing lomachenko. It would also be a good gauge for grj to see how he handles the higher weight.
people around the mayweather gym are saying tank will fight salido or roman martinez next on the floyd vs mcgregor card....

If he fought Tank he can forget about the Loma rematch... there won't be anything left of him.

            Tank destroys Gary.

If he can't beat Davis @ 130, then he shouldn't be seeking a rematch with Lomachenko, which is his ultimate goal! He could always return to 126, if that happens. However, if none of the champs @ 126 want to fight him, what is he to do? Frampton is ranked #1 by the WBC, so that should be the obvious choice!

If that's the case, then so be it! However, if GRJ wants a big fight, that has to be a consideration! They're both from Maryland, both champions, and I think it's a bigger fight than Lee Selby or Valdez. If LSC wins, then that should be priority #1, if not, then I think Tank should be "Plan B." This is what champions are supposed to do!

                    Agreed

If his goal is a rematch with Loma he better leave Tank alone.

Like everybody goes into hiding once a year. The long list of contenders on Russell's resume is staggering. He never ducked anybody.
