A lot of fighters have applied the Maidana formula with little success. Porter for one did it in exaggerated fashion. He won but not in a Maidana beating kind of way.
I guess any strategy can only be applied once on the same fighter. Biggest question is will Broner get up and recover fast after a KD this time around? If it's the same Broner in the Marcos fight, then Mikey would have tough fight going into this fight.Comment

If Mikey gets a tight decision or loses the fight he should definitely move back down to 135. But if he is able to TKO or KO Broner then you should stay at 140 because a performance like that speaks volumes of his potential.Comment

that's the way to beat broner,it has been proven already,you can't try to box with him because he's faster and you are letting him think in there,the key is to pressure him,but another thing,those guys that beat broner were natural welterweight,garcia is a lightweight,i wonder if he's strong enough and remember broner is a pretty big guyComment

Broner will just be doing his normal herky-jerky roll shoulder things and I think Mikey will be punishing him early and catch up with him around 8 or 9 round...Comment
