This was the 3rd time I have seen him I believe. Saw him win every rd against Cowart a few years ago as well as when he blasted out Aaron Herrera in a rd last year. He gets better every time I see him. He's a real threat in a thin 140 lb division

Undefeated super lightweight Regis Prograis made an emphatic statement Friday on ShoBox: The New Generation, knocking down previously undefeated Joel Diaz Jr. four times in the second round as he stamped his arrival as a legitimate contender in the 140-pound division. The southpaw Prograis (20-0, 17 KOs), who was making his fourth start on the prospect developmental series, called out the top names at 140 after the second round demolition (TKO 2:55) at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y.

Sorry but Rios always was c-level.
I hopes he sticks around to be a gateway fighter. Always fun to watch but he's just not very good!

I think Prograis is going to have s chance to be the future of the division. Unfortunately for him he won't get the likes of Crawford, but a fight with Broner or Postol is a possibility I believe.

Crawford fights one more time in the division than moves on to the big fights in the welterweight division. Broner and Postol are more realistic but that's down the line.

I think guys like Orozco, Ryan Martin, Robert Easter are going to be big fights down the line for Prograis.

I'm not suprised Prograis won, or how he won. Joel was all about his power and how Prograis only had speed. ONLY had speed. That's the give. Joel speared himself going for a KO. Crawford won't do that, he'll use his own speed, move and pick and poke. He's a different kind of animal. This is a good win for Prograis, somebody mentioned the young master next, Iman, that would be a good fight and a peek at a different style.
