should kovalev got some time for low blows, yes. ward had him though. would i have liked to see a corrales-esque comeback? hell yeah. i had kov up 4-3 before the 8th but he took the low blows as well as any man could and he came up short, is what it is.

i still hate ward though and have ever since the sakio bika fight.
