I think its cuz he gave Joshua his best competition at the time of their fight. I mean go watch his other fights. Whats to be THAT excited about? I mean he doesn't suck by any means, but....
That said I tend to think many fans get too down & overreact on guys over L's so I guess its nice to see guys overreact positively about a L cuz it happens far less often.
I try to stay away from that these days after learning myself waayyyyyy back in the day with guys like Ricardo Torres (who I predicted would be a title holder once upon a time post-that awesome showing vs Cotto) among others I was far too confident about after a L. Guys who know how to win are far far far better fighters then those who do just enough to still lose I've found.
Someone also mentioned Jennings on a TR card..
And the fact that Hearn & Arum have been talking about Crawford vs Indongo could have led into talks about Whyte & Parker being a goal this year or early next year.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 06-09-2017, 07:06 PM.Comment

I'm not sure Whyte beats any top 20ish guy comfortably or easy if that's basically your implication. I think Breazeale is dangerous for most guys in the top 10, top 20 & beats most everyone else.
I think Whyte is HIGHLY overrated & has beaten less quality fighters then Breazeale has, but in their big common opponent (Joshua) I think we see a clear difference in those guys mindset + ability & that's mainly why I lean Whyte's way. Its a competitive, fun fight if it happens doe.Comment

The comment about Whyte vs. Miller is good one as wellComment

Eddie must be confident about getting a Wilder shot if they are gonna bring him to the states. I would guess he gets a name guy who isn't a huge risk if that Wilder pay day is looming. I'm gonna guess we end up with Whyte vs ArreolaComment

agree ... only English hype could turn whyte into a top 10. He's clearly no better than chisora based on his last effort.Comment
