  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin Reflects on Sparring With Canelo, Whether it Matters

Heading into their September 16th showdown at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, much will be made of the sparring that took place between Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) in Big Bear, California several years ago. Back then, both were relatively unknown figures to most American fight fans. Now, they meet as bonafide stars of the sport. So what can be gleaned from those sessions?

Canelo must be eating his double corn tortillas in hopes his power goes up cause I dont think his speed and b!tch a$$ power he has right now will be enough to stop being steamrolled by GGG.

Even then, Canelo looked like the bigger man. He must've starved to make 154.

Quit hating. Seems to me that your the only B ITCH on here who still finds something to complain about.
B itches like you never give another man any props no matter what they accomplish.
But I know it must eat at you that another man succeed in life and your still the b itch ass loser living in your mommas basement and still working at the same fast food joint that you was at 16 years old....
You really are a ****ing b itch!

Props to Golovkin for giving props to Canelo. Now I'll need to give props to Canelo the moment he gives props to Golovkin for giving props to him. Has Canelo given props to Golovkin recently?

Exactly. You shouldn't take too much from sparring against someone early in their career. That's how you end up like wlad did against aj
