I'm glad Spence is showing the ambition that should be throughout boxing as a sport. Interesting though. Now that Spence has the IBF belt, no one has the ultimate goal of getting that title. Garcia is nowhere to be found. Porter is trying to wait to rematch Thurman. Peterson don't want it. After years of saying that Spence didn't have a belt or the resume, they still don't want to fight him. LOL. It's all good. As his profile increases, fan pressure will force these cowards to glove up. He will probably end up having to fight a Collazo before the Ocampo-Pomonarev winner. This buys Thurman so more time...

Danny Garcia is not a top contender at 147lbs & ignore Danny G

Spence and Paq or Thurman is the only fight that has sense at 147lbs. Danny Garcia should fight Porter or even Crawford or broner. Thurman will talk tough yet avoid Spence for two years or so. Paq will look for more Horn type fighters like Danny G. Spence is the best obviously and will be avoided.

I agree, but this is the next logical fight if those in charge of the sport actually cared about it. A big win should lead to a bigger fight.

I think this is one of the biggest problems with the sport and why so many fans are turned off. Spence just beat Kell Brook. What incentive is it for real fans to watch if the next fight be a guy who fans feel is not as good as Brook?

For Spence fans you get to see him win an easy fight. His haters get to watch hoping he loses so they can say he sucks and then minimize the Brook win. Other than that, I see no reason to watch.

Now put him in with Manny and you get to see if he can take another step up because Manny, why diminished, is seen by many as being better than Brook right now.

I am a known Manny hater so his sh-t fans can easily spin this or make some kind of racial/bigoted label Dunn defense of this but most honest, real fans understand my point.

The sport isn't helped when one of its brightest young stars is denied the chance to fight the guys ahead of him. The sport is also not helped when a champion is allowed to protect his title by only fighting opponents that can't beat him.

I'm biased because I want to see Pacquiao vs. Crawford, and the winner facing Spence Jr. or Thurman!

Homie I'd be fine with that because in that case Crawford is being rewarded for winning. Now I am ok with the Indongo fight, but I thinka lot of fans think Indongo is no better than Postol or Diaz, despite the titles, so there is a disincentive to watch the fight.

To me its very simple-like the old Glass Joe video game-win a fight take your pick of higher paying opponents next. Instead, we are in the modern era where video games allow you to create yourself and let you buy VC to upgrade and get the chance to fight the best without earning it.

I will stop ranting LOL!!
