Currently, IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin is in his home country in Astana, Kazakhstan for EXPO 2017 where the boxer is an official ambassador. There was talk of Golovkin defending his titles in June in Kazakhstan in conjunction with this international exposition that takes place from June 10th to September 10th. The main target opponent was WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders - which would have set the stage for a unification of the entire division.

It should be a testament to what a no hoper billyboy saunders is,that he was willing to fight gg in Kazakistan where hed be surely robbed even if he won. That should be proof he has never had real faith in his "talent" as he just has always wanted to cash out for big $$$ rather than getting whooped on (again) by an even bigger nobody. GGG is being under-rated by some

GGG is not a flashy fighter. He is an extremely efficient one. He glides forward while cutting off the ring as well as anyone in the sport. He is so efficient that he wastes no energy with unnecessary leg movement. His feet stay very close to the ground leaving him always ready to punch with power. He is also very accurate. Canelo has good counter-punching skills, and power...when coming forward. I don't see him being able to back GGG up. I don't see him being able to control the distance by jabbing and moving. I don't see him being able to survive 8 rounds.
