hope you enjoyed it because despite the plaster wraps, it turned out that margaritos career was the one that was ruined as a result of that fight. He hasn't put together 1 meaningful or impressive performance since that night and will go down as Mexicos biggest shame.

The only part of Margarito's career that is untainted is his chin. True - he kept coming forward in the rematch and would not quit. The only problem was that Cotto kept landing clean, hard shots on him as he continued to come forward and, over the course of nine rounds, was never in danger like he was during the span in the first fight. Margarito knew that his eye could create problems for him ... but he did not alter his style or game plan to deal with that risk. He's to blame for that...not a fight doctor, and certainly not Cotto. It's not Cotto's fault that Margarito was always a fighter with no Plan B.

I would have liked the second fight to go a little further than it did, but I think the people who say that Cotto was fading and that Margarito was coming on really need to look more closely at how Margarito was getting his head snapped around in the last minute of the 9th round.
